  • Look here to find how the point system works. These points are the basis for awards in our two special catagories; Bowler of the Year and the All Star Teams.
  • Individual points are based on averages which qualify under the conditions stated, bowler's scores, and Tournament participation.

The following averages will qualify for points towards the All Star Teams and Bowler of the Year:

200 - 204 = 1
205 - 209 = 3
210 - 214 = 5
215 - 219 = 7
220 - 224 = 9
225 - 229 = 11

For every five point increment in averages above 230, the bowler will receive an extra 2 points

  • Maximum number of leagues will be three (3). If the bowler has more than three leagues, then his 3 highest averages still count.
  • Minimum two (2) out of three (3) averages must be in a different bowling centre. (Cannot use 3 averages from one centre only.)
  • Minimum number of games for the All Star Teams is 51 games per league.
  • Minimum number of games for Bowler of the Year is 66 games per league.

Points will be awarded for high scores in the following manner:

First 800 series in any centre
Next and succeeding 800’s in the same centre
First 750 - 799 Series in any centre
Next and succeeding 750 - 799 Series in the same centre
First 700 - 749 Series in any centre
Next and Succeeding 700 - 749 Series in same centre
First 300 game in any centre
Next and succeeding 300 games in same centre
First 299 game in any centre
Next and succeeding 299 game in same centre
First 298 Game in any centre
Next and succeeding 298 game in same centre
First 285 - 297 game in any centre
Next and succeeding 285 - 297 game in same centre
Any 275 - 284 game bowled in any centre

  • All scores will be counted from local tournaments in the area and it is the bowler's responsibility to report them to the local association secretary for verification

  • Points will be awarded for the following tournaments:
  • All Sanctioned Scratch Singles Tournaments within WEKCBA:
    1st = 5, 2nd = 4, 3rd =3, 4th=2, 5th=1
  • WEKCBA Scratch Singles Tournament 1st = 5, 2nd = 4, 3rd = 3, 4th = 2, 5th = 1
  • WEKCBA Scratch All Events Tmnt 1st = 5, 2nd = 4, 3rd = 3, 4th = 2, 5th = 1
  • Participation Points will be awarded for the following tournaments:
  • Bowling in all three events in the WEKCBA Tournament 2 Points
  • Bowling in any one event of the WEKCBA Tournament 1 Points

  • The Bowler of the Year will be determined on the highest number of points obtained by the bowler during the season. (June 1st to May 31st).
