x  Started bowling at the age of six in the Local 444 Junior Bowling Program at Bowlero Bowl.

x  Bowled in the A.J.B.C./Y.A.B.A. until reaching the upper age limit of 21.

x  Placed second in the Doubles in 1973 with Mike Prodan.

x  Placed third in the Doubles in 1980.

x  One of the first Juniors to bowl in three sanctioned youth leagues in one season.

x  Bowled 278 in 678 at Crescent Lanes in 1980.

x  Scratch Singles Runner-up 1983.

x  Provincial Junior Team Championship 1983.

x  Finished 13^th in the 1983 Michigan State Junior Championships Class 'A' (Cecil Ward Tournament.)

x  Senior Division Bowler of the Year and All-Star Team in 1980 with a 177 average.

x  Senior Division All-Star Team 1981 and 1982 with 172 and 175 averages respectively.

x  Junior Travelling Classic League Championship won with Jim Gauvin, Kevin Clarke, Gary Langill and Randy Ouellette representing Bowlero Bowl. (1978)

x  Two Junior Travelling Classic Championships and one Runner-up representing Crescent Lanes.

x  Travelling Classic executive positions held; Treasurer, Secretary and President.

Essex County Youth Leaders

x  Youth Leader Secretary in 1981-82, Vice President in 1982-83, President in 1983-84.

x  Organized the Annual Yearbook via the Youth Leader Bowl-a-thon in 1984.

Essex County Junior Bowling Association

x  Joined the E.C.J.B.A. Board as youth bowler representing the Youth Leaders in 1980.

x  Has been the Association President since 1990.

x  Was the Association's chief instructor from 1985 through 1996.

x  Instrumental in the formation of the Association's Annual Scholarship Tournament and has been the tournament director for all of the 11 events.

x  Has been the Association Membership and Sanctioning Chairperson for five years.

x  Attended 9 Y.A.B.A. International Workshops.

x  Was the Youth Leader Advisor for 10 years.

x  Coached from 1987 until 1996 and was instrumental in starting scholarships in the Shopper's Drug Mart Junior Travelling Classic League.

Ontario Provincial Junior Tenpin Bowling Association

x  Was a Director on the Ontario Junior Provincial Board for 6 years.

x  Was the Junior Provincial Tournament Director in 1989 and 1994 with the 1994 event being the first such Provincial tournament where youth scholarships were given out.

x  Was the Chairperson for the 1997 Canadian Tenpin Federation National Youth Bowling Championships.

Coaching / Training

x  First started coaching the Bantam Division in 1980 at Crescent Lanes.

x  Successfully completed two Y.A.B.A. Coaching Clinics. 1980 and 1982.

x  Completed two Y.A.B.A. Certified Coach Instructor Clinics.

x  Completed Y.A.B.A. Registered Coach Instructor 1988 from Fred Borden.

x  Was recommended and successfully completed and filled the position of Y.A.B.A. In-State Instructor, a position held for four years.

x  Completed two Dick Ritger mini camps (Crescent Lanes) and attended two one week Dick Ritger Bowling Camps in Ithaca, New York.

x  Took Dick Ritger Bowling Instructor’s Camp in Ithaca, New York.

x  Took a one week course to improve skill at the P.B.C. Camp in Cincinnati with P.B.A. Lane Maintenance man Sam Baca and Jeri-Lynn Edwards a past Team USA Coach. June 1987.

Windsor Area Bowling Council

x  Has been a member of the Windsor Area Bowling Council representing the Juniors since its inception in 1989. Currently the 2^nd Vice President.

x  Instrumental in bringing the In-School Bowling Program to local area grade schools.

x  Numerous 700's and bowled at least one 700 series every year as an A.B.C. member.

x  Five 290 games. 1991 game was the league high game in Super Bowl Majors.

x  Two 299 games. 1991 game was the league high game in the Rose Bowl Majors.

x  Two 300 games. First on March 3, 1989.

x  Three 800 series. 804 at Rose Bowl. 805 and 836 (278, 279, 279) at Thunderbowl in Allen Park Michigan. At the time, January 31, 1989, the 836 series was the highest score ever recorded by local area bowler.

x  W.-E.K.C.B.A. 1^st All-Star Team 1989-90 and 1991-92

x  W.-E.K.C.B.A. 2^nd All-Star Team 1988-89 and 1990-91.

x  Bowled in 43 A.B.C. Sanctioned leagues in 15 years. 35 in Windsor and 8 in Detroit. 16 year composite average of all A.B.C. leagues is 206.34. Composite average of     W.-E.K.C.B.A. leagues only is 204.86. Only 8 sub 200 League averages of the 43.

x  Participated in 10 consecutive A.B.C. National Tournaments since Toledo in 1991.

x  High Game of 289 in 1997 Doubles. High Series of 751 in 1997 Doubles.

x  High All-Events score of 1990 in the 1997 tournament. This score was the second highest All-Events score by a Canadian in the 1997 tournament behind Jack Brace from Oshawa.

x  Bowled the second highest team game in the history of the A.B.C. Tournament in Reno in 1995.  Snow (228), David Iorio (268), Wayne Tyler (200), Len MacLelland (287) John Pavicic (267)  -  1250.

Miscellaneous

x  Participant in the 1992 C.T.F. National Team Trials in Toronto.

x  Bowled in the 1994 C.T.F. National Team Trials in Vancouver surviving three field cuts and finished 12^th.

x  Volunteered as the Scoring Chairperson for the 1998 C.T.F. National Team Trials held in Windsor.

x  In 1990 qualified 3^rd and finished 4^th in the Molson Masters.

x  In 1992 and 1993 did the colour commentary for the Molson Masters on Trillium Cable with Bill Kelso.

x  Combined W.-E.K.C.B.A. and W.A.W.B.A. Banquet Master of Ceremonies in 1995.

x  Made the 7-10 split. Left two 5-7-10 splits.

x  In 1995 won the Canadian Division of the Brunswick World Team Challenge with John Pavicic, Wayne Mackay, Todd Sim and Dan Aqwa. Represented Canada in the World Finals in Reno.
