- Bowled in the Monday Night Men's League at Strike & Spare Lanes for 23 years
- He severed as President for 2 years, and Secretary for 10 years.
- Bowled in the Friday Night Mixed League at Strike and Spare Lanes, which went to the Ridge Recreation after the explosion in 1980, and then moved to Empire Lane. He severed as President of that league for 15 Years.
- In 1965 he formed and ran the Community Mixed League which bowled at the Rose Bowl, And the league is still in existence at Empire Lanes
- From 1967 to 1972 He severed as a coach in the Junior Bowling Program at Rose Bowl under Moe Parent.
- In 1972 Murray started a Junior Program at the Strike and Spare Lanes in Essex. There were 3 leagues on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. This program contained over 250 youth bowlers.
- He was the Program director for that program and handled all the secretarial duties for the junior program also
- After the explosion in Essex He formed a new junior program at the Ridge Recreation, and was the program directors and did the secretarial books till 1985. This program had again over 250 youths.
- Murray now is a coach in the youth program at Empire Lane since 1985
- He also donated his time on Fridays for youth coaching at Empire Lanes.
- After the 1980 explosion in Essex, Murray Help Joe Galos in the building of the Ridge Recreation in North Ridge.
- Murray helped to organize the leagues for the old Strike and Spare Lanes to continue bowling at the new centre.
- In 1989, Murray again start a new league at Empire Lanes called the Sunday Morning Sinners. This league is18 teams strong and once again, Murray has been the Secretary since the league's inception.
- In 1994, he took a small senior group on Friday's at Empire Lanes and built it up to 17 teams. He has been the secretary since 1994.
- Since 1988, Murray runs the Essex County Senior League on Thursday Afternoon. When he took over the league that his father ran for years, he increased the league form 50 to 60 bowlers to over double the size. (22 Teams). He runs the league himself and organizes all their events.
- He is also the secretary of the 10th Frame Major Handicap League at Empire Lanes for the past 12 seasons.
- Served on the Windsor Essex County Board of Directors for 3 Years.
